Link develops Australia’s first robust wireless mobile alarm system

Link has worked with Bosch security systems to develop Australia’s first completely wireless robust alarm system tailored for the construction, development and mining industries. Our solution uses Bosch’ TriTech range of expert sensors to deliver a solution which is unsurpassed within the industry and offers greater operational peace of mind for a mining, construction or development company.

During 1999 Link commenced the design and fabrication of a prototype mobile alarm system utilising the GSM telecommunications network to deliver a truly mobile, reliable solution. the prototype was mobile and reliable, however was relatively large and heavy due to the deep cycle batteries included, now after many prototypes, Link has developed the Link Mobile Alarm (LMA), the most reliable and robust unit yet. The alarm features deep cycle lightweight trilon batteries and unit power up with 240V plugs.

The sensors can deliver 360 degree detection coverage of room or building sites, indoor areas or outdoor areas, the sensors are reliable Bosch TriTech sensors with redundancy, and tampers, the system are widely used by our clients to deliver additional security on sites across Australia.
